Ronny Chieng

and actor. Chieng is currently a senior correspondent on The Daily Show on
Comedy Central and creator and star of the sitcom Ronny Chieng International
Student which premiered on ABC (Australia) as well as Comedy Central Asia in
2017. Chieng was the son of an Malaysian Chinese family. He was born in Johor
Bahru. Chieng was brought up in Singapore as well as the United States. He
lived in Manchester, New Hampshire, from 1989 until 1994. Chieng appeared in a
comedy festival that took place in Melbourne, Australia in 2013 together with
Trevor Noah. Chieng was invited to audition for the Daily Show's reporter role

expressed his opinion with a lot of expletive concerning the segment of the Fox
News, the conservative network. He also revisited New York City's Chinatown,
where Watters have mocked the residents and conducted interviews more
respectfully in Mandarin and Cantonese. The video went viral and was covered by
the Washington Post, Slate, as well as other media publications. Chieng was a
Singapore Sea Scout when he was a young teen. While he's been living in
