Abby Elliott
Abby Elliott
(born June 16 in 1987) is an American actress and comedian who was a cast
member on Saturday Night Live from 2008 until 2012, and then played on the
Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out and the NBC sitcom Indebted. The actress is daughter
of of comedian and actor Chris Elliott. Elliott was the second of two children
. She was born in New York City. She is the daughter Paula Niedert, a talent
coordinator and Chris Elliott, an actor/comedian. Her grandfather was Bob
Elliott, a radio comedian. Her sister, who is younger than her, is actress
Bridey Elliott. Both were born in Wilton, Connecticut. She attended high school
in Immaculate High School in Danbury, Connecticut, where she participated in
school plays and musicals. After having graduated from Immaculate High School
in 2005 she was accepted into Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but
dropped out during the first year of her studies .In 2010, Elliott was a friend
of her fellow Saturday Night Live cast member Fred Armisen. The couple split in
September of 2011. On September 3, 2016, Elliott was married on September 3,
2016 to Bill Kennedy, a television writer. They have a daughter, Edith Pepper
Kennedy. Elliott attended comedy classes at The Groundlings and eventually began
training and performing in various sketch comedy shows at the Upright Citizens
Brigade Theatre (UCB) in Los Angeles.
